Mike joined Clear as Group CEO in January 2021, having previously worked for A-Plan, Capita and BGL Group. Before entering the insurance world, he spent 17 years in the military.

Phil has been with Clear since early 2022, bringing over two decades of insurance experience. He was previously at Simply Business where he progressed to MGA MD.

Tim joined Clear in 2020. He is a Chartered Accountant and previously worked as FD at Hastings Group. He has extensive experience in financial services and private equity.

Howard co-founded the business in 2001, with the intention of creating the sort of broker we’d all want to work with. These days, he’s focused on supporting the M&A team.

V has dedicated most of her career to the insurance industry. Since joining Clear in 2020, she’s developed a dynamic People and Culture strategy that continues evolves with the company's growth.

Andreas has been CEO Europe and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Clear Management Europe GmbH since July 2023. Throughout his career, he’s held senior executive roles in the insurance industry.

Mandy leads our MGA business. She came to Clear in April 2024, following various roles at RSA. Mandy volunteers for the Stroke Association, mentors The Girls Network and chairs the CII’s Underwriting Community Board.

Christy joined the board as Group Sales and Marketing Director in October 2024. She drives the UK retail business, with more than two decades of experience in the financial sector.

John spent most of his career on the insurer side before moving over to broking in 2019. He’s responsible for Schemes, Distribution and Market Management at Clear, and leads the Brokerbility network too.

Des has worked in the insurance industry for over 35 years. He became part of the Clear Board when MBC Insurance was acquired in April 2023: our first acquisition in the Irish Broker Market. Des has led MBC for more than 25 years and is looking to grow the Irish arm of Clear.

Stuart started his career in the claims sector before quickly developing into broking. Stuart and Dan first worked together in 2007, and in 2016, they founded Matrix Marine which then evolved into Lilley Plummer Risks in October 2019.

Dan joined the London market in 2007. He worked at Windsor Marine and Cambiaso Risso London before founding Lilley Plummer Risks with Stuart.

Sally-Ann has a background in financial services and technology. She has been Non-Executive Chair of the Clear Group since 2022. Alongside this, she also serves as a Non-Executive Director at IG Group, where she chairs the Sustainability Committee, and as a Non-Executive Director at Lowell Group, where she chairs the Risk and Sustainability Committee.

David was appointed by Clear in August 2023. After qualifying as an accountant, he worked for various financial institutions and advised clients from a multitude of industries. David’s experience covers broking, underwriting, personal lines, commercial and general insurance.
